Rain rain go away....

I've been frustrated just a little bit these past two days. It's this weather, I'm sure of it. I know I should be grateful because mother nature is watering my lovely flowers and trees but I miss the sun. I miss it and I think that if it came out to play, I'd feel a little bit better.

Vitamin D, I need you.

Lately, I've felt like I've let everything just get me down. I'm not bringing in the sunshine to my life 24/7 like I should. I need to meditate. I need to break free from some emotions that get me nowhere in life. I walk around and I see people noticing me. And how they notice me so. They notice that I have that extra something and I shut them out. I turn around and let someone else rob that extra something. No, I lie. I give it to them, I practically throw it to them in the face and they throw it in the garbage. I'm sure of it.

You probably have no idea what the crap I'm saying. I guess what I'm trying to say is to let that person who is paying attention get some of your attention. Do it. Live and be free.

BE FREE DAMN IT!

Something that is keeping me going, is this coming Saturday. It's going to be Lesa and Adam's wedding and I can't wait to celebrate the creation of a new family and a new life!
So happy for them and I love that they are planning to start their new life with a BIG ADVENTURE! Italy for a month....how romantic....

I actually had some Italian customers come in and as I heard them speak I started grinning like a big goof. Love their language, for all I know they could have been talking about how the weather in Chicago is crappy and if it rains anymore, they will get an airplane ticket as soon as their done with lunch. Haha. It still sounded beautiful.

Peace, Love, Peace.

I think....

God put me here so I that I can make you smile.

So smile, pretty one.

Smile and be free of all pain and sorrow

Smile and be free of all stress and you'll see that tomorrow will be a new day.
Smile and remember that love will set us all free.

Home

If you can't tell by now, I love all things that put a BIG GOSHDARN SMILE on my face! LIKE SUPER BIG and fills my heart with love bugs. Came across this song while watching my favorite duo Jorge & Alexa doing a cover of it. The lyrics are the story of Iovan and I. He is the apple of my eye, and nothing pleases me more than him. Not even more than chocolate cake. I truly love him.

AAAND then I came across this video and the main singers of this song sing it like there is no tomorrow. Like they are full of life and happiness and love. And if you think they are on drugs then that's you being negative and I don't need your comment. :)

ENJOY!
 Dedicated to you, boyfriend.

Home is wherever I'm with you..♥

ILYSL and a little bit more...

Happy Easter friends of mine!

Before I begin with my lovely Sunday list, I want to just give a rundown of a few things.

So today, my mom pulled me out of bed with guilt. She opens my door and is like "Are you finally going to church?" I stayed silent, she proceeds with the following "God's son is back from the dead and you don't even pay your respects to the person that died for our sins".....as I laid in bed not wanting to move after only having like four hours of sleep I gave her a thumbs up. And she slammed the door. Ouch. I took five minutes and finally got up because the cons of my mom being mad at me weighed more than the pros. We are at church and there are like a bazillion people there, being "religious" and stuff. Jeez, you could see the letter "H" for hypocrite stained in there forehead. After a week of being bad they think their sins will be repented if they attend church once a week. I swear, I was surprised everybody didn't melt as soon as the "holy" water hit everyone when the priest was blessing. I'm surprised I'm still alive. HA! I'm not perfect, never said I was. Nobody is but I don't like how so many people who call themselves Christians or Catholics are preaching the bible when I've caught almost everyone either back stab, be homophobic, racist and just an nonspiritual person at the same time! Don't tell me that you believe in the word of God when from your same mouth you spit at the thought of having a black president. Idiot.

Like I've said before, I don't believe in the Catholic Church "system" anymore. I believe in the good morals they have like "don't lie, cheat, steal, and kill." I believe in "being faithful to your loved ones, helping others always" and other good stuff. I believe in God, and I believe that he made me and the perfect imperfect way I am. I believe that when I pray really hard for him to take care of my family he hears me. I believe that when I pray God to make me stronger...he hears me. I believe that I am living in heaven right now but I know that later on when I am all old and I pass away of natural causes I will be entering another type of heaven. I believe in Him. I believe. But I don't believe in the people who call themselves representatives of God when so many have ended up hurting so many people with actions I don't even want to mention right now.

During my time in church, I got to pray so not all time was wasted. So many people I needed to pray for. Well enough about religion. I want to start this Sunday list already. So many goodies! I ♥ ♥ ♥!

1. This week started a bit slow and not a lot of sunshine but Thursday came and the sun had finally decided to come out and play! Made my day a lot better.

2. I found treasure on YouTube. So this guy is very talented and has an equally cute talented daughter. He looks like he is an amazing father and I love that he is so close to his daughters introducing them to great music and being so involved with them. Here is a video! WATCH IT!
I want to start  a  LEVORUTION!

3. My boyfriend just bought Lego's Harry Potter video game.....I'm squirming as I type this!!!

4. This picture is ridiculously funny. Hahaha, I really wish I could I could be there to see the face on the guys as they hurriedly run in to pee..and in case you don't know what they are they are urinals...
5. MY FRIEND LESA IS GETTING MARRIED THIS SATURDAY AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER AND ADAM BECOME A FAMILY! AAAH! P.S. She bought me the most delicious breakfast anyone could have ever asked for. Whole wheat bagel, egg, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil and a sun dried tomato paste. AMAZINGLY GOOD!

6. This website has me hooked on it. It's called Dear Blank, Please Blank. Has some hilarious notes that had me up till about 3 a.m...

10. This amazing person for going out there and getting what she wants and making life happen for her. Julia Gulia, you never cease to amaze me. Not so long ago she left to start a new chapter in her life and to be happy, she told me that once she would go back to Florida, she was going to buy a red convertible to drive around with the top down. Two weeks later....

Go out there and get your life!

Ever After: Cinderella Story.

So my sister was watching one of our favorite movies "Ever After: Cinderella Story" with Drew Barrymore and she said "I don't like it that the prince didn't save her. She had to save herself." And it was almost as in that moment I heard something click and she said "Oh wait! I do like it! They are trying to say that a woman doesn't need a prince charming to save her. She can save herself....wow, after 13 years I figured it out. Ha"

Silly girl, but yes, she is right, I loved that they didn't go with the same old story about a man always having to save a woman from danger. It sucks that so many movies have made us seem as the victim and we need other people to do the saving. The good old damsel in distress....

They've replayed the story over and over again, and when a young girl sees this, it is engraved in her head so she grows up wanting to have a man help her at all times .They have this idea that life without prince charming would make life all more hard. I mean it's nice when a man has our best interest and help us.....but we are perfectly capable of saving ourselves. We are women and we can do what man can do....sometimes even better.

I hope mothers, future mothers, aunts, cousins, and friends will take the time to tell young girls everyday that they are strong, independent, and beautiful. Tell them every chance they can get. Now don't get me wrong, I think men are wonderful, amazing, and loving, but the only person that can save us is ourselves. Always and forever.

A moment of reflection..

Today, I had a choice to have a bad night or to move on and have a good one....

I chose good, and thank goodness for that. See sometimes you have to know when it is right to fight and when it is wrong to bring up stuff that are insignificant. The choices you make sometimes need to be carefully made because if you choose wrong everything will go down the toilet. So learn to pick your battles, and learn to recognize when you are being silly and you are just getting upset over nothing.

My problem was nothing. This problem is nothing. I have no problem.

I love myself and I love my friends and I love God. And I love everyone no matter how much you may hurt me, I know that love will free me from hate and pain.

Sweet dreams people of Earth..

Dream big ♥

Dream big and don't ever let anyone crush it. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do anything. Don't let anyone tell you that you are not enough. Don't let hate words fill your brain and heart. Be strong and go for your dreams because without dreams, we wouldn't have electricity so that we can see the faces of our loved ones better in the dark. Without dreams we wouldn't have cars that can drive us miles and miles across the country to visit places of wonder. Without dreams we wouldn't have spaceships to take us to the stars and God. All those great inventors and scientists wouldn't have been able to accomplish anything if they hadn't dreamed.

And no matter the size of your dream, if its big as this whale...

Or as small as this turtle...

...all dreams are important.
Nothing is impossible. Everything is possible.

Love letter to the ☼

Sun, remember when you used to come in to my room around 6 a.m. and you gently kissed my head?

Do you remember when you used to submerge my body with your rays of lights and transformed my skin into the same color as you?

Do you remember when you used to shine on me so bright you used to make my forehead sweat with beads of love water?

Do you remember when you used to not want to leave me so you'd go back to the other side of earth later than 8 p.m.?

Do you remember all the fun times we used to have in the beach?

Do you remember?

I do. So please come back so that you can give my body some sign of life. I've been drinking water, all I need is your sunlight to make me grow bigger and brighter.

I miss you love...come back.

ILYSL ☺

Before I begin this wonderful list of joy, I want to say that I loved EVERYTHING about today. Today, I went on to my post-appointment at the dentist. Everything is A-Ok. I found the perfect dress for Lesa and Adam's wedding. I visited my sister Diana at her job and she looked adorable. AND my boyfriend and I went to Whole Foods and he realized that he needs to start eating healthy too.

YAYNESS!!!!!! (I want him to live as long as I will. )

•♥• So let us begin •♥•

1. My bf and I watched the documentary "Foodmatters" last night and that's when I saw his eyes go like this....

2. This awesome story.
One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the president’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, “Why was he so interested in talking to you.” She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “So if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant,” to which Michelle responded, “No. If I had married him, he would now be the President.” via here

3. I love scary movies, and I saw a really good one yesterday. WATCH IT (if you want to have nightmares.)

4.Woke up to this little munchkin crawling in my bed this morning. ♥ I love him.

5. Sometimes you can't choose who you love...♥

Let's move on people.

Today, was netflix night. I love netflix night, although sometimes I do pick the worst movies ever. Lol.

Tonight, I watched "The Express" I liked it but it was all too familiar. Black man, 1950's, racism everywhere, he proved himself to everyone he was equal, became hero. Hi, Remember the Titans. I love movies that show growth of the human mind. Racism is sick. Racism shouldn't exist. And racism should be stopped. In general, I dislike any kind of hate towards race, gender, sex preference, etc. Grow up people. If you call yourself Christian, did you know that Jesus was of a darker color? Did you know that in the bible it doesn't say that if you are black you're whack? No. Does it say that you are not allowed to LOVE whoever you want to? No. Does it say that just because you are woman, you are nothing but just air? No. Get on with 2011, it's a whole new world and you need to accept that fact that hate is not the way to go.

►►►►►►►►FORWARD WE MUST GO!!!

BUT I also dislike that people, especially my African-American friends keep pushing racism at our face with comments such as "My ancestors suffered so much because of you white people." "My ancestors were cotton pickers and were killed because of you white people." "My ancestors fought for the right to sit on this bus, so I'm gonna do whatever I want." I get it. I took history 101. We've seen the videos of police beating people because of their color of skin. We've seen the videos of people spitting and throwing rocks and making people sit in the back of the bus because of the color of their skin. I know that so many great people like Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, stood up for the right of so many people because of the color of their skin. I know it but you need to stop with these comments because all you do is bringing up the past and we are living in the future. How bout you concentrate on that. We know that a hundred years ago many people suffered, but you are not them and now we are living in the 21st century. Let's leave the past in the past and let it be that.

►►►►►►►►FORWARD WE MUST GO!!!

And to all of you people against gay marriage read this and engrave it in that pretty little head of yours.

And to all you MEN that think less of us woman know that.....
Love all of you, even if you are still living in 1900's.

I'd like to say...

Play me ♥

Good bye to winter! Au revoir! I've never been really fond of you winter, only of the holidays you bring. Christmas really wouldn't be complete without your white snow and the hot cocoa after standing out in the cold for so long holding on to dear life as the wind and snow throw you around like a rag doll. :) Good bye winter, you will not be missed. So as a farewell present to you, I've thrown away my snow boots.

That's them in the middle, hidden in the obscurity winter also had me in. Adios!

And if you're thinking why I have two garbage cans? No, we are not a dirty family, we recycle! Lol, just a random unnecessary fact.

So on this delish spring day, my two loves and I went on a walk to the forest preserve again and I loved it. It's amazing how perfectly bliss a day can be by just walking with a person you are so in love with and a wonderful little creature you are enamored with. It was blissfully unexciting but it was just perfect and I wouldn't trade this day for any other day. I hope they both know how much I love them. I love them this much
 ∞♥

And even though we had walked almost four miles, as soon as I got home at 10, my puppy had her toy in her mouth ready for me to play with her. YEESH! This energizer bunny just keeps going! It was actually pretty funny because as Iovan and I were walking back to the house from that forest preserve after making Duchess run a million times after the ball, we felt like we were walking slower and slower and Duchess had seemed to be recharging her batteries. Hahahaha, I love her. I love my little furry baby, with her neverending love.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I hope that you were able to enjoy this beautiful spring day. Take some time out of your busy schedule to see change all around you. Look at the trees as they are beginning to show signs of new life, the daffodils coming out from underneath the ground, and the sun who is ready to spread that vitamin D with you! Spring is here and I'm so excited!!!!

Sending my love to you...
