The wind underneath my arms...

You know what I love? I love running.

It makes me feel like a bird.
It makes me feel like a lion.
It makes me feel free to be able to run and run and feel my heartbeat accelerate under my skin.

I love that when I feel like I can't anymore, all of a sudden I feel that extra push that my body was hiding somewhere.

I love that it happens often.

♫I love it that it's just me, my legs, the pavement, and my headphones.♫

☺I love that when I'm done, I see all the sweat. It means I definitely did something right.☺

♥I love running.♥

Life Lesson #283,129. Never run without a sports bra. Ever. Ouch.

ILYSL ♥

Oh blog, how I've missed you so. I needed a push from off my bed and into this desk chair. I am now typing in you and you will like it. ☺ I need to make sure I record everything that I loved this week and from the past week because I was a naughty girl and did not post anything last Sunday. But today I will write what I loved so that I can look back when my age is a bigger number and my memory becomes smaller. :)

}♥{

1. It was raining on Monday and my boyfriend and I went to Jewel. When we came out, the rain had picked up a bit more and as we were at the edge of the exit of the building, he said to stay there and that he would bring the car closer to me. The car was literally ten feet from me. A little rain wouldn't have hurt and I said "Don't worry baby, I'll go with you." He said no and brought the car closer to me. Chivalry is Iovan's middle name. ♥

2. Mexican popsicles. Yumm.

3. My dear friend Lesa had sent me a "Thank you" note a while a go for her wedding and I just barely received it in the mail last weekend. It was the sweetest note a friend has ever written to me and I received it at the right moment. Love her.

4. Summer days with a cool breeze that makes you take your shoes off and put your feet out the car window. :)

5. My Duchess thinks she fits in my CAT'S bed. She has been sleeping for the past two days. I'm dead serious.

6. Whoever said "Cats, drool. Dogs, rule" or "Dogs drool. Cats rule" surely meant "Dogs and cats, rule and drool." ♥

7. I love chalk....and I love beautiful displays of chalk on the floor. The building in which I work in was celebrating 76 years! So some artists decided to do a little something something in the entrance and it surely brightened up my day. Colors are beauuuutiful. AND Coldplay has a really really cool video with CHALK!

8. My sister is gorgeous and I'm sure she knows it. ♥

9. When I look out a window and see blue skies and white clouds with some sunshine, my smile makes an appearance.

10. I'm actually SUPER excited about my new classes this fall semester and it's biology. Why am I so interested in biology? Beats me, but I am.

Spread love and peanut butter and jelly. :)

On this Friday morning....dance. ☺

Feel the music and shake it. Feel the music but don't break it. Feel the music and dance to it.

and if you are home alone....dance butt naked. :))

Love and be loved.

Time is not for wasting on hate. Time is for loving those who matter to you. Time is not for negativity. Time is only for the positivity in your life. Believe in me. Believe that life is only about love, happiness, and peace.

Time is for love. Time is for happiness. Time is for peace.

Repeat it. Shout it. Believe it. Engrave it in your heart and mind. Every day can be perfect and it is up to you and no one else to make it perfect but YOU. No one can bring you down if you don't let it. You are the controller of your own life, of your emotions in your heart, of the thoughts in your mind. Let some seconds pass by if your frustrations build up.....then let them go. It's nothing but spam in your life. Get rid of that poop. ♥

Picture Perfect Thursday.

Yeah, I'm starting picture perfect Thursday because I was just too impatient to wait till Sunday to post it on my "I love you, Sunday list" and why wait, you know? I mean, if you really want to do something, THEN DO IT! Let's not wait because then maybe one day we won't have the opportunity to do it. It's just a bunch of pictures that make my day and I hope it makes yours too!

So here it goes!!!!

1. :)
2. Someone was making sure they got him in the picture...

3. Not impressed

4.

5.

6.

7. I admit, I got confused a lot in the beginning...

8. :)

9. Chivalry is dead because we, women, killed it.
10. Happens all the time to me...

Sweet dreams! :)

Easy as riding a bike...

Today, I rode a bike for the first time in a while and while I did I was remembering how hard and difficult it was to learn how to ride a bike. I thought to myself when I was little, "HOW IS THIS BIKE EVER GONNA STAND UP WITHOUT MY TRAINING WHEELS!" Even braking was strange and weird for me. I always thought that if I used my brake, the bike would send me flying full force ahead....so instead of the bike doing that for me, I always threw myself out of the bike as a way to stop myself. True story.

So like everyone, I had my training wheels and still had one of my parents holding on to my seat after the training wheels were off for a while. And now that I am 24 years old and proudly riding without training wheels I think to myself, why did I ever think this was hard? Why did it seem like the impossible to me? And I think it's because we always put negativity in our mind before we even try ANYTHING! We always say, "No way! I can't do that!" "That's impossible!" We become afraid of falling and hurting ourselves. I think that we need to change that habit and whenever we are face to face with something we think is impossible to achieve, say "I can do this." Put that fear in the back of your head and believe that you can do anything. Before you know it, you are gonna look back and see that you have no training wheels and no one is holding your seat to help you from not falling. Believe and everything can be as easy as riding a bike.

Today.....

Something was off today. It all started when I was walking to work in the morning. Every time my sister works at the same time I do, I get off at the stop she gets off, which is only one before mine. So I was walking and  I don't know why I got this sudden urge to look up but I was looking up at the buildings and all of a sudden I started to see them as cages. Tall, steel cages. And then I looked down and I saw everyone walking and I was wondering where they were going, where did they work, were they happy? To tell you the truth, it got me depressed because here we are, going to school, graduating to go to work at this place that some end up hating for their rest of their life. And then there are the people that go to school for something that they are really passionate about and they graduate and they are standing right there in front of you with a Dunkin Donuts coffee on hand, your favorite martini, or working at your local Walgreens. I don't want to end up being a hostess for the rest of my life, or serving you cocktail drinks with a side of smile and a little prayer hoping that you will tip me more than ten percent. But I understand, times are hard and the economy is in the shitter along with your taco bell from last night. I'm grateful I have a job. I am. But I don't want to be sad, depressed, and frustrated for all of my life because of the mediocre job I have. I need there to be a sign that everything will be fine, that my life will have a purpose every day. To tell you the truth, it had me down all morning, almost to the points of tears. (Yes, I'm a cry baby, but at least it shows that I give a fuck, right? Right.) But I kept telling myself...everything will be alright. Everything will be alright.

EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT.

And here I am typing this...and feeling like everything will be alright. We all have that one period in their life when they think their life might not be going in the direction they want, but you have control, and you can win in life. Win your life back. If you can still read this, it's not too late.

No matter how small you are....there is always something big underneath.
